Read a representative passage
Turtle Head Isle, commonly called Yuantouzhu(鼋头渚), is a large landscaped peninsula on Lake Tai(太湖) in Wuxi. It is famous for cherry blossom, but the permanent route is the lake: wooded paths, the lighthouse headland, historic pavilions and views toward the Taihu Fairy Islands(太湖仙岛). Outside the short blossom window, it remains a lake park; during peak blossom weeks, it becomes a crowd-management exercise.
