Turtle Head Isle, commonly called Yuantouzhu（鼋头渚）, is a large landscaped peninsula on Lake Tai（太湖） in Wuxi. It is famous for cherry blossom, but the permanent route is the lake: wooded paths, the lighthouse headland, historic pavilions and views toward the Taihu Fairy Islands（太湖仙岛）. Outside the short blossom window, it remains a lake park; during peak blossom weeks, it becomes a crowd-management exercise.
