Read the device label first
- 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz: the device generally needs only a compliant plug adapter.
- 110～120 V専用： mainland China's approximately 220 V supply requires an appropriately rated step-down transformer.
- Heating and high-power devices: check voltage, frequency and wattage with the manufacturer; plug shape alone is not enough.
Use a properly rated adapter
Choose equipment that matches the plug, voltage, current and power requirements printed on the device. Stop using damaged, loose or overheating adapters.
