Chengdu Panda Base is one of the easiest places in China to see giant pandas across different life stages. The attraction is far larger and hillier than many first-time visitors expect. A good visit depends less on collecting famous panda names and more on arriving early, choosing the right gate, and moving between nursery areas and adult enclosures before heat and crowds build.
